How the gate works
This tool grades a lead-capture form's prior-express-written-consent readiness. Each control is marked from your own evidence and weighted into a 0–100 score — and then the score is run past a gate that can only make the verdict worse.

The verdict bands
A pre-checked opt-in box (not affirmative), no retained per-consumer consent record, or purchased data with no provenance forces EVIDENCE GAP regardless of the score. If evidence of the required affirmative action or consent record is not shown, this instrument records a consent-evidence gap. It does not determine whether legally valid consent exists.
In the worked sample it scores 80 out of 100 and still reads EVIDENCE GAP — Disclosure, electronic-signature evidence, record-keeping, and revocation are all marked at the top — the form scores 80. But the opt-in box is pre-checked (not affirmative), and that triggers the consent-evidence gate: the instrument records a consent-evidence gap. Common questions
