Tool Gate · How it works
How the Brand Voice Content Multiplier gate works
How the Brand Voice Content Multiplier gate grades a piece of content: the read is the weakest of six voice dimensions, with an anti-slop gate that demotes the verdict a band — which is how a piece with every dimension on-voice still reads DRIFTING, because AI-slop tells fire the gate even on a clean sheet.
How the gate works
This tool grades an AI-drafted piece against your own brand voice. Each of 6 signals is scored 0–2 from your own evidence; the verdict is the weakest one — and then it is run past a gate that can only make the verdict worse.
The 6 signals
| Signal | Role |
|---|---|
| Register & tone match | signal |
| Lexicon & signature terms | signal |
| Sentence rhythm & structure | signal |
| Point of view & stance | signal |
| Claim & fact fidelity | signal |
| Channel & format fit | signal |
The verdict bands
A draft that reads like a machine — generic AI-slop phrasing, hollow cadence — is demoted one band, even when every dimension marks on-voice: ON-VOICE reads DRIFTING and DRIFTING reads OFF-BRAND. A draft already OFF-BRAND stays OFF-BRAND. The flag only ever lowers the read.
In the worked sample all six dimensions on-voice (weakest 2) and it still reads DRIFTING — The sample draft, Email — nurture #2, marks on-voice (2) on every one of the six voice dimensions, so its weakest dimension reads ON-VOICE. But the draft carries the anti-slop flag: it reads like a machine. The gate demotes it one band, so the read is DRIFTING. Marked fix first on this sample: Clear the anti-slop flag — every dimension already marks on-voice, so the flag is the only thing holding the read at DRIFTING.
Common questions
Can a profile look clean on the Brand-Voice gate and still fail?
Yes. The verdict is the weakest of 6 signals, then run past a worsen-only gate — the Anti-slop — that can only make it worse. In the worked sample all six dimensions on-voice (weakest 2) and it still reads DRIFTING, because the sample draft, Email — nurture #2, marks on-voice (2) on every one of the six voice dimensions, so its weakest dimension reads ON-VOICE. But the draft carries the anti-slop flag: it reads like a machine. The gate demotes it one band, so the read is DRIFTING.
What is a worsen-only gate?
A rule that can only lower a verdict, never raise it. One gate-triggering gap overrides an otherwise-clean sheet, because a single gate-triggering gap shouldn't hide behind everything that passed. Where something is short, the fix-first row names it — here, "Clear the anti-slop flag — every dimension already marks on-voice, so the flag is the only thing holding the read at DRIFTING.".
Grades a draft, never a person. Runs offline in the engine — nothing is fetched, sent, or published.
