How the gate works
This tool grades an AI agent's guardrails before it goes live. It scores 5 weighted controls into a 0–100 number — then a gate that can only make the verdict worse.
The 5 weighted controls
If the agent can take a destructive action and its approval-gate control isn't fully READY, the verdict is forced to DO NOT DEPLOY regardless of the weighted score.
Why: The refund and billing agent scores 86/100 and four of five controls are fully READY, but its approval gate on destructive actions is only PARTIAL - and this agent can take destructive actions (issuing refunds). The gate overrides the score.
A high score didn’t save it. The score is context; the gate is the answer — and it names the one thing to fix first. Grades the guardrails you describe. It does not run or change any agent, and it never scores a person.
