How the gate works
This tool grades one process's know-how capture against its criticality. It scores 2 weighted controls into a 0–100 number — then a gate that can only make the verdict worse.
The 2 weighted controls
A process rated important-or-higher criticality, held by one or zero backup-qualified operators, without a validated depth-3 SOP is forced to SINGLE-POINT regardless of how much of it got captured.
Why: Documentation reaches a draft SOP - depth 2 of 3 - which on its own would read THIN at 43. But this is a line-down/safety-critical process held by exactly one qualified operator with no verified SOP and a departure horizon inside 12 months. The single-point gate forces SINGLE-POINT regardless of the 43.
A high score didn’t save it. The score is context; the gate is the answer — and it names the one thing to fix first. Scores a process, never a person. Deterministic and offline - your inputs, no benchmark multiplier.
