How the gate works
This tool grades an Instagram profile across 6 conversion surfaces, gated by whether a stranger can tell your niche at a glance. Each signal is scored 0–1; the verdict is the weakest one — then a gate that can only make it worse.
The 6 signals
Niche legibility scoring 0 - no obvious topic, or the grid contradicts the bio - forces INVISIBLE regardless of how well the other five conversion surfaces read. A stranger who can't tell what the account is about never becomes an audience, so the conversion surfaces never get a chance to work.
Why: Five conversion surfaces - bio headline, link-in-bio, pinned proof, highlights, and CTA - all score a clean 2/2, which alone would read CONVERTING. But niche legibility scores 0: no single topic is obvious from the profile, and the grid doesn't reinforce one. The niche gate overrides every other surface and forces INVISIBLE - a visitor who can't tell what the account is about leaves before the conversion surfaces get a chance to work.
A clean sheet didn’t save it. The verdict is the weakest signal — and a top trigger is dispositive on its own — so it names the one thing to fix first. Scores your profile from the marks you set - not a guarantee of reach, follower growth, or algorithmic distribution on any platform.
