How the DNC Suppression Sweep works

This tool grades every workflow's live audience against your master opt-out list, normalizing phone formats, then rolls the account up to its worst leak. It reads 4 workflows and rolls them into one verdict — the worst, never the average — then a gate that can only make it worse.

The 4 workflows

LEAKS TO CLOSE
a workflow leaks but the worst leak is a channel opt-out or email unsubscribe
ACTIVELY DIALING OPT-OUTS
a global-do-not-call or known-litigator number is still queued to dial
One-serious-leak escalation · worsen-only

A stray email unsubscribe is housekeeping; a global-do-not-call or known-litigator number still queued to dial is the fact pattern behind seven-figure settlements. Every workflow rolls up worst-first — and one such leak escalates the account past LEAKS TO CLOSE to ACTIVELY DIALING OPT-OUTS on its own, no matter how many workflows are otherwise clean. Phone numbers are normalized to their last ten digits first, so a leak can't hide behind a format difference.

ACTIVELY DIALING OPT-OUTS

Why: One workflow is clean. Three leak: Reactivation would still dial two suppressed contacts (a channel opt-out and an email unsubscribe), Speed-to-Lead one — the same opted-out number written in two different phone formats a plain lookup would miss. But Missed-Call is still queued to dial a global-do-not-call number, and that one leak sets the account verdict on its own: ACTIVELY DIALING OPT-OUTS, not LEAKS TO CLOSE. 3 leaking · 1 clean, of 4 workflows · 4 suppressed contacts still dialable · worst-not-average.

Fix firstMissed-Call — the workflow still queued to dial a global-do-not-call number; suppress that contact across every workflow first, because one global-DNC leak sets the account verdict on its own. The opt-out and unsubscribe leaks come next.

No single workflow is the crisis — the clustering is. The roll-up takes the worst, the gate escalates when trouble compounds, and it names the one thing to fix first. Not legal advice. DNC, consent, and calling-window rules under the TCPA and state law vary by state and vertical and change. This sweep finds overlaps between lists you export — it dials nothing, suppresses nothing, makes no compliance determination, and scores no person. Confirm your DNC and consent duties with counsel.
